Verax Patria focuses on the restoration of the path toward the Sacrament of Matrimony. Modernity has ruptured in a manifold way the path which men and women choose to take in relation to one another. We share with the world the traditional path of forming spiritual friendships based on virtue, seeking the good life together, judging the virtue of another to make sure that you can trust the other with your life, that you align in purpose, mission, and values. Courtship is a time of testing virtue and a man should be schooled in how to properly lead a woman in this stage. It is at the critical stage that a man and woman are laying the foundations for the rest of their lives. The Rite of Betrothal, a solemn engagement, is a tradition in the Catholic Church. It is a promise to marry the other person unless there is a grave reason not to.
The Sacrament of Matrimony is one of the richest sacraments within the Church. We promote and teach this Sacrament, revealing to many how this path and vocation is a viable and holy way to become a Saint in this life, a mutual aid for spouses to receive eternal life and worship the Blessed Trinity for eternity.
